November 30

Well, Thanksgiving break was fun. I spent most of it back home in Kansas City with my family. I didn't do much work at the station this week. I did work nightside tonight, but that's about it. While at home, I got to stop the station that I interned at. KSHB 41 NBC Action News. It was good to catch up with my mentors. I also got to show them my website. I got some really good feedback. They all said to get rid of the anchor intro's. They said just show us you... Anyway, that's about it. I still need to fix the contact me page on my website.

Blog November 16

I realized that the contact tool on my website isn't working. I guess some of my family members have posted comments on it. The comments are suppose to get forwarded to my inbox, but I haven't seen any. i think you even posted one comment (something short like "you rock") but I never got it. Maybe we can look at that when you get back. Also, I have tried uploading a couple of the "print screen" images to the online page of my site, but they keep coming up to small, or distorted. I'm not sure how to fix that so I just keep taking them off.

Here is a link to one of the stories I worked on this past shift. I added some extra photos and rewrote the story into a more appealing web version.

Also, I know you were talking to me when you mentioned how students need to find away to make up points for not blogging. Sorry again for not keeping up with the assignment. I don't have any ideas right now on what I can do to make up those points, but I'll keep thinking. I've done a couple extra web shifts already, but let me know if you come up with any ideas. The smart decision project is moving a little slow. We haven't had a lot of responses to the survey, and the ones we do have show very little interest or awareness of the site. We will continue emailing the survey out to as many people as we can and hope for more responses.

Hope all is going well in China.
